Do you cater for food preferences ?

We fully cater for guests that prefer a vegetarian meal or non-beef, non-chicken, non-pork or non-fish menu. We cater for those who “prefer” to eat gluten-free tastings.

Do you cater for food allergies ?

No. We are aware of how serious food allergies are and unfortunately at this time we are not able to cater for food allergies.

As Miami Culinary Tours does not control restaurant food preparation, food substitutions and modifications to the tour menu due to allergies will be politely declined. Miami Culinary Tours can’t confirm 100% that cross contamination in food preparation won’t happen as Miami Culinary Tours is not allowed to enter restaurant kitchens to supervise food preparation. 

Do you cater for guests that require a gluten-free menu due to having celiac disease ?

No. We are aware of how serious gluten can be for folks with celiac disease and unfortunately at this time we are not able confirm that tastings won’t contain gluten due to cross contamination. 


What is your cancellation policy for public tour? 

You can cancel and get a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours you can re-schedule or receive a gift certificate valid for 1 year for a future tour if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to the tour. You must send an email in writing for our records to info@MiamiCulinaryTours.com to re-schedule or receive a gift certificate. We do not accept cancellations by phone, they must be in writing. No refunds are granted for tours cancelled after 24 hours from purchase as your space is guaranteed at the tour. 


I am bringing luggage, where do I store it?

As our tours are walking tours, we do not have a place to store luggage. In Miami Beach there is a place that will keep your bags for a small fee:

If I am bringing an infant or a very young child, do I need to purchase a ticket for them?

Children not eating can attend free of charge. You are welcome to bring a baby stroller.


Is there parking near the tour meeting point?

Yes, once you purchase your ticket, an automated email will be sent to your email account with parking information.


Is there enough food served on the tours?

Absolutely! As we always say, “this is a food tour, we like to feed people!” Plenty of food is served at either the lunch or dinner tours.


Are gift certificates available?

What are the names of the restaurants that you stop at?

What type of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards. All tours must be prepaid.


Do you offer private tours?

Yes, we conduct private tours with a minimum of 6 people or equivalent ticket price.


Do you offer customized private tours?

Yes, we will be happy to arrange a customized private tour for your group.


How long are the tours?

All of our tours are between two and three hours depending on the type of tour and the size of the group.


How much walking is involved?

We walk about a mile at all of our tours. We make plenty of resting stops in between. We walk at a moderate pace.


Are the tours wheelchair and baby stroller accessible?

Yes. All tours must follow a schedule with the venues we visit, please have this in consideration when booking.


What are the meeting points for the different tours?

The meeting points are under each tour description.


What languages are available for the tours?

Tours are conducted in English although some tour guides speak Spanish.


Does the tour end at the same place we meet?

All tours end a few blocks from the meeting point.


Do we only walk around and sample food?

No. Our tours also cover history, architecture, art and local culture.
