TUR Kitchen in Coral Gables is a chic, sleek contemporary Mediterranean restaurant as dedicated to honoring the flavors, techniques and rich cultural histories of that region as it is to smart, sustainability-minded sourcing. Here, Chef Christian Chirino has crafted a menu as technically precise and thoughtfully-conceived as it is adventurous and delicious. Chef starts with vibrant, fresh flora and fauna almost exclusively from the state of Florida, with partners including Swank Farm, Gratitude Garden Farm and Bluehouse Salmon, among others. Chef then takes these products, combined with flavors and textures from across the Mediterranean, employs classic and modern technique to render a menu that is both fresh, surprising yet familiar. Since opening in 2020, it has garnered popular and critical acclaim. In 2021 the Miami New Times named it the “Best Mediterranean” restaurant in its annual “Best of” issue and Eater Miami included it in a recent roundup of the most “superb Coral Gables restaurants.” The 4,000-square-foot restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining experiences and is open daily. In addition to a varied a la carte menu TUR offers a number of curated chef tasting options including “THE VOYAGE,”’ an extravagant 13-course tasting menu and the eight-course “GEZI” tasting menu.
