The inaugural 2015 Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience

Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience

This Saturday November 14, the City of Miami Gardens will host an event centered on wine and food. The inaugural 2015 Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience, which will be held in the city’s municipal complex, will feature food from local South Florida chefs, samples of renowned spirits and wine, live music, and bartender and chef showdowns.

The Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience will follow in the footsteps of the City's 11th year signature brand, the annual Jazz in the Gardens. The Jazz in the Gardens event is an internationally distinguished music festival in Miami Gardens with over 70,000 in attendance.

800-1000 attendees are expected at the Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience, making for an experience full of sophistication, versatility, excitement, and great food and drink. The event is Miami Chic and self-proclaimed “Grown and Sexy.” Cocktail attire is encouraged, as the night is sure to produce quite the event for socialites.

General admission to the event goes for $65 and includes all inclusive wine and food samples under the stars. The rooftop VIP reception ticket, which goes for $125, includes all of the above, plus exclusive wine tastings from around the world, a small plate dinner by a secret renowned chef, and parking.

There will be a Miami Gardens Master Chef Showdown featuring chefs Myriam Charles, Troy Tingling, Ali Francois, and Alain Lamaire. Chef Myriam Charles owns Divine Cakery, a custom cake business that has produced works of art for celebrities such as Amare Stoudemire. Chef Troy Tingling is Amare Stoudemire’s personal chef and has cooked for the prime minister of Jamaica. Chef Ali Francois has worked for different organizations, including the Miami Heat, Hennessy, and the Obama campaign, where he has developed an affinity to serving top-class clientele. Lastly, chef Alain Lamaire is an award-winning chef who is the co-owner and executive chef of Sensory Delights, one of South Florida’s most renowned catering companies. Who will take home the Miami Gardens Master Chef title?

A portion of the proceeds coming from the Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience will be donated to The Woman’s Fund of Miami Dade. This organization is directing all of its energy toward creating equal opportunity, access and influence for women and girls. Over the past 22 years, The Women’s Fund has influenced over 60,000 lives through its initiatives, and has funded more than 400 gender specific programs.
