Discover the Wynwood Walls

In the early 2000s, Wynwood underwent a process of revitalization. One of the results of these efforts was the incredible Wynwood Walls. This open-air street art museum is an unparalleled experience, featuring a collection of towering, vivid murals painted by some of the most famous street artists from around the world.

Visiting Wynwood Walls is a rare opportunity to experience urban art at such a large scale in a curated setting. Since its opening in 2009, it’s been at the forefront of exhibiting some of the most cutting-edge artworks. The collection is frequently updated, showcasing a variety of cultural, artistic, and political influences. Some big names who have exhibited here include Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, and Kobra.

Visit the Wynwood Museum of Graffiti

The Museum of Graffiti is the first-ever museum dedicated to the unique art form, celebrating graffiti’s history, evolution, and purpose. Tracing the origins of graffiti from the 1960s and 70s to the present day, the museum follows the path of this often controversial and evocative art form.

The museum highlights notable figures who have shaped the world of graffiti and provides insight into how graffiti transitioned from being an underground, often illegal movement to becoming celebrated in galleries, museums, and public spaces.

More than just a museum, there are graffiti classes for beginners hosted every Saturday, where you’ll get to pick up a spray can yourself and unleash your imagination. Every Sunday, there are also kids’ graffiti drawing classes led by a local artist!
