In celebration of America’s most anticipated sporting event of the year, HaVen South Beach restaurant will host Super Bowl XLVIII weekend with a lineup of festivities and food and beverage specials that are sure to pump up game-day spirit. The hip hangout known for its tasty bites and signature hand-crafted cocktails boasts delicious menu offerings in addition to giant LED projection screen walls, making it the perfect spot to gather with friends to cheer on your favorite team.
The day before the big game, Saturday, February 1st at 10 p.m., kick off the night with HaVen’s Destination Saturdays: NYC. The weekly party pays homage to travel and creates a sense of adventure by celebrating a different city each night. While guests dance the night away to eclectic, high-energy beats by HaVen’s resident DJ Kristian Caro and VJ Dark Intersection, they can sample selections from the dinner menu, which features an array of sushi, crudos, skewers, sliders and internationally-inspired sharing plates. Menu highlights include ahi tuna poke with yam pureé, coconut green curry, pepita and candied ginger ($15); Santa Monica Roll – lump crab, yuzu tobiko, avocado and cucumber ($10); five-spice pork belly pot-stickers with water chestnut, sage and chestnut-miso butter ($11); tater tots with Maytag bleu cheese, chives and balsamic ketchup ($9); Swedish skewer – meatballs, cremini mushrooms, white truffle and lingonberry gastrique ($11); Falafel slider – chickpea, cucumber and micro mint with siracha tahini and tamarind honey ($9); Lamburger slider – lavender-coriander honey, apple fennel slaw and yuzu mustard ($11) and Duck Duck Quail slider – duck burger with quail egg, foie gras butter and parsley-shallot salad ($13). The menu also features delectable desserts including sub-zero nitro ice cream. Table reservations will be available.
On Sunday, February 2 at 6:30 p.m., football fans are invited to celebrate Super Bowl XLVIII with classic American comfort food, beer and bottle specials and to enjoy the game projected on the massive screens that line the entire venue. Lionized by locals during weekly Monday Night Football game watch events, the inviting lounge is one of the best spots on South Beach to watch the big championship game. On Super Bowl Sunday, guests can enjoy chicken wings, burgers and popcorn while sipping on Brooklyn Lager, a hometown favorite of New York; this year’s Super Bowl host city. Bottle specials will include Belvedere. Table reservations will be available and must be made in advance.
