Meat Market is a contemporary steakhouse with 5-star cuisine and a bustling bar scene, nestled in its prime location on Lincoln Road. On New Year’s Eve, the Miami Beach hotspot is gearing up for an evening of fine dining and festivities, with a live DJ spinning and mixing tunes throughout the night. The restaurant will serve a three-course, prix-fixe dinner during its first seating, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., priced at $163.50 per person, excluding gratuity. The second seating, beginning at 9 p.m., features a three-course, prix-fixe dinner, priced at $245.25 per person, excluding gratuity, as well as a Champagne toast and midnight party-favors.
To start, diners can choose one appetizer such as tuna tartare with ginger, soy, avocado smash and mango mole; cedar-scented Hamachi with yuzu, white truffle, lime and jalapeno; or chargrilled lobster tail – 6 ounce lobster with lemon roasted garlic dipping sauce and crostini. Choice of one entrée includes bone-in filet mignon with truffle potato, artichoke, crispy parsnip and red wine sauce; Creekstone Farms prime rib eye steak with spicy fried onions, smoked corn salsa and fire roasted chili; stuff half Maine lobster and petite filet with prime filet, spinach, lemon, truffle and roasted garlic sauce; or black cod “aji miso” with aji amarillo, sweet potato, shimeji mushrooms and pea tendrils. Decadent desserts choices include pistachio crème brulee with pistachio ice cream, candied pistachios and caramelized pistachio tuille; Jack Daniels pecan pie with citrus sabayon and maple cream; espresso flan with chocolate covered espresso beans and macadamia nut biscotti; or trio of cupcakes – red velvet, mocha Kahlua and lemon.
In addition to the prix-fixe menu, Meat Market is offering special appetizers including fresh Florida jumbo stone crabs with cocktail sauce, mustard sauce and sweet miso ($25 per claw); oysters on the half shell with cocktail sauce, yuzu truffle mignonette and sweet miso ($5 per oyster); and ice wine cured foie-gras torchon with brioche toasts, sea salt, membrillo and ice wine syrup ($20). Additional sides include truffled cream corn ($10); foie gras mashed potatoes ($12); 6 oz. lobster tail ($25); and gouda tater tots ($10).
