The Wynwood Brewing Company TOYS FOR PINTS event to collect toys for children serviced by the Wynwood NET (Neighborhood Enhancement Team) Community Center will end this Sunday, January 5th. Friends can still bring a new unwrapped toy ($5 or more value) to the Wynwood Brewing Company Tap Room, located at 565 NW 24th Street, and get one FREE Pint of the brewery’s year-round brews: La Rubia, Pop’s Porter, and the Wynwood IPA.
The toys will be delivered to the children serviced by the NET Community Center in the Wynwood District on Monday, January 6th - Three Kings Day - at the Roberto Clemente Park, 101 NW 34th Street, Miami, FL. The Brignonis, who are originally from Puerto Rico, want to give back to the community in a meaningful way during this holiday season.
Founder, Luis Brignoni stated: “This is the perfect way for us to share the joy of the holidays with the Wynwood community. The NET Center services around 70 kids from the area in its after-school programs and we wanted to keep alive the tradition of the Three Kings Day in Wynwood known as the original Puerto Rican community in Miami.”
Toys can be dropped off at the WBCo Tap Room, 565 NW 24th Street, from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m. until Sunday, January 5th. One free pint per person per gift.
