Mare Nostrum is Brickell’s newest, effortlessly elegant dining destination. On New Year’s Eve, the restaurant will serve lunch, from noon to 4 p.m., and dinner, from 6 p.m. to midnight. Guests can enjoy a delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu in an atmosphere that that evokes the relaxed vibe of a coastal retreat. An array of dishes will be offered, such as arroz de pescado y marisco – traditional Spanish dish with Mediterranean seafood ($24.95); mahi mahi al grill – grilled mahi mahi finished with extra virgin olive oil ($18.95); and spaguetti vongole with sautéed clams, shallots, garlic and tomatoes ($22.95). For dessert, indulge in the Magdalena de limon – lemon Madeline and orange cream with candy kumquat, citrus sauce and lemon sorbet ($8.95); the flan de turron – Jijona nougat flan with caramel sauce and candy marcona almonds ($8.95); and the bizcocho de aceite de oliva – olive oil cake and dark chocolate cremeux with citrus sauce and vanilla ice cream ($8.95).
