The Little Haiti Cultural Center is a mecca of art located in the heart of Little Haiti on NE 2nd Ave. This ethnic and urban community center brings lively celebrations, art exhibits, and dance and theater performances to the Little Haiti community. Most importantly, it serves as an advocate for the promotion of ethical, moral, and academic principals valued by the local community.

Performing Arts
Cultivating the rich arts culture of the community, the cultural center has partnered with several dance, music, and theater companies to offer a diverse array of performing arts classes for children and some for all ages. The resident dance companies include Peter London Global Dance Company, Dance NOW!, MAD Dance, Tradisyon Lakou Lakay, Inc, Delou Africa Dance Ensemble Inc. (D.A.D.E), and Haitian Arts and Culture for Children (HACCHI). Dance classes include Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Haitian Folk, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Tumbling, and African, and Haitian Folklore. Other arts and educational programs include Musical Theater, Djembe, Doundoun & Percussion, and Organic Words.
Visual Arts
The visual arts program provides Photography, Computer Literacy, and Screen Printing.
French
French heritage and language arts classes are offered free for children.
Tae kwon do
Imparting a nonviolent philosophy of self defense and discipline, Tae kwon do classes serve as the main physical activity of FANM’s after school, spring break, and summer camp programs for kids. Adult classes are also offered.
Yoga
Nurturing physical, mental, and spiritual minds the center offers revitalizing outdoor yoga for only $10 a class. The first class, however, is free of charge.
Capoeira
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that values respect for self and others. Classes include physical, social, and musical activities.

Caribbean Market Place Hours Of Operations

The Caribbean Market Place hosts regular community events and a cultural exchange of handmade goods, jewelry, and fashion displays.
Supporting the community’s Haitian culture, Big Night in Little Haiti is a recurring art and food festival featuring Hatian art, creole food, and a live concert series of Kreyol music including Tabou Combo and T-Vice. This is a free community event held every third Friday from 6pm-10pm.
Thursdays at 12pm–2pm come in for Chef DP’s conch fritters lunch special and enjoy a complimentary glass of Santos Sangria. Conch salad and fried conch burgers are also available.
Every Sunday from 11am–3pm, join the fun for Rankont Dimanch: A Creole Brunch Experience of delicious creole cuisine and entertainment followed by BOGO Happy Hour and Live Music at 4pm-6pm.
