Executive Chef/Co-Owner Sean Brasel of Miami Beach’s sizzling steakhouse, Meat Market, has just launched a Sunday Night Prime Rib Special – a modern twist on the traditional classic that is certain to knock the socks off your grandma’s version. The sumptuous dish is now available every Sunday, from 6 p.m. through midnight or until it’s all gone.
According to Brasel, “Prime rib is a great cut of beef because it has a lot of marbling, which contributes to its juiciness and flavor. It’s one of the tastiest meats available.” Brasel’s spin on this culinary delight features Creek Stone Farms prime rib that brined for 24 hours, slow roasted overnight and then wood-grilled before serving. The succulent beef is then topped with fried Anaheim green chiles and onions and accompanied by a natural au jus ($35).
Meat Market is also still running their popular Happy Hour every Friday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. where guests can enjoy half-priced sexy signature cocktails and $1.50 oysters, $2.50 shrimp and $6 fresh ceviche to nibble on.
Embracing a sultry, comfortable modernism that reflects its landmark South Beach location at 915 Lincoln Road, Meat Market’s Crudo Bar opens nightly at 5 p.m.; the full dinner menu is served from 6 p.m. – midnight, Sunday – Thursday; and
6 p.m. – 1 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Telephone: (305) 532-0088. www.meatmarketmiami.com
