Slow Food Miami will hold the latest in its monthly “Snail Social” Happy Hour series on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 6PM to 8PM at Miami Smokers Urban Smokehouse in Little Havana.
Miami Smokers keeps it real local for this Snail Social Happy Hour! Attendees of the Snail Social can look forward to a complimentary charcuterie board which is not to be missed, since Chefs James Bowers’ and Andres Barrientos’ mission is to produce the best charcuterie in Miami.
Miami Smokers is also offering $5 craft beers brewed right here in Florida, including Miami Pale Ale and Freedom Tower Amber.
Guests can also savor a variety of $5 snacks like Bacon Croquettes; Juicy Bacon-Wrapped Plantains; and Smoked Jackfruit Sliders.
Attendees can also enjoy a 15% discount on regular menu items, including favorites such as the El Cubano sandwich – your classic Cuban with a little something extra – sweet ham, lechon, mustard, pickles, spicy mayo, topped off with Miami Smokers’ hand crafted delicious beer mustard, or The Floridian, stacked with Okeechobee wild boar, spicy mayo, guacamole puree, orange segments, pickled peppers and cilantro on a baguette.
Featured on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Miami Smokers is a smokehouse on a mission to bring timeless curing and smoking techniques and heritage-breed pork to Miami consumers, one slice of bacon at a time.
This event is open to the public. There will be a Snail Social hosted by different Snail of Approval chefs and restaurants throughout Miami on the second Tuesday of every month. Other participating chefs and restaurants will be announced throughout the season via Slow Food Miami’s mailing list and social media tagged with #snailsocial.
