Sawa means "Togetherness" in Arabic and "Harmony" in Japanese, signaling the restaurant’s wildly successful blending of two seemingly disparate cuisines meant to be enjoyed and shared by everyone. Culinary team Executive Chef Said Shehadeh and Chef de Cuisine Luis Sandoval’s menu tells a story of East-meets-the-Far-East, with dishes spanning everything from tapas and kebabs to sushi. House favorites include flavorful sushi rolls like the Kamikaze Tempura (Saku tuna, avocado, masago, spicy mayo, eel sauce), meat tapas like the lamb lollipops (New Zealand lamb, jalapeño mint demi-glaze) and authentic, house-made Arabic dishes like falafel, tabouli and moussaka. A vegetarian tapas menu is also available.
