Highly revered Chef and Restaurateur Pascal Oudin of the Coral Gables landmark contemporary French restaurant, Pascal's on Ponce, proudly announces that his award-winning eatery is celebrating 15 fruitful years of delighting and dazzling the most discerning of palates. Welcoming neighbors, regulars, special occasion diners, and the new generation of fine food lovers, Oudin and staff are celebrating big with six months of revelry including specially priced prix-fixe menus, cool collaborations, tastings and events.
It was late summer 2000 when then 40 year-old Oudin – who had trained under 3-star Michelin luminaries and world-renown greats Roger Verge, Joseph Rostang, Gaston Lenotre and Jean-Louis Palladin before earning his own chops as Florida Chef of the Year (Chefs in America Foundation), Best New Chefs 1995 (Food & Wine Magazine), and Best New Chef in Florida (Esquire Magazine) – realized a lifelong dream and opened a restaurant of his very own. The intimate 55-seat locale was born to immediate success and notoriety, being recognized as one of the Best New Restaurants in America (Esquire Magazine), a Neighborhood Gem (2002, Gourmet Magazine) and a top new restaurant in 2003 by New York Times. The accolades, praises and awards have not squandered over the years, with local and national recognition continuing to pour in to current the day.

Beginning in July and carrying on through the end of the year, Pascal’s on Ponce launches a specially-priced 15th Anniversary Bistro Menu. Offered during lunch only, diners can enjoy a rotating, three-course prix fixe menu of Pascal’s on Ponce lunch classics and guest favorites. Priced at $26.95 per person, with an optionalpaired wine flight for $15 per person (both excluding tax and gratuity), the menu is an unparalleled chance to indulge in Oudin’s haute cuisine at fraction of the usual cost. Nightly promotions surrounding the anniversary include one complimentary souffléand $15 gift certificate to return to Pascal’s, awarded per couple or pair for dinner guests who mention the promotion.
Gearing up Saturday, August 15, 2015 in continued jubilee of the anniversary, Pascal’s on Ponce will launch Pascal’s 15, a monthly soiree occurring on the 15thof each month, featuring complimentary bites for patrons at the bar from 6-8 p.m., as well as 15% off select bottles of wine and a $15 dessert platter, a once in a lifetime chance to taste samples of a handful of Pascal’s delicious French desserts, both available throughout the entire restaurant.
Also on offer will be a cyclical Plat et Vin du Mois (dish and wine of the month) wherein Oudin will select a classic Pascal’s on Ponce dish and pair it with a glass of wine, during lunch only, throughout the entire month for $15 each. July will feature a delicious lobster bisque, topped with with lobster salpicon and chive and August’s plat et mois is a refreshing French haricot vert salade with walnut vinaigrette.
Lastly, but certainly not least, Pascal’s on Ponce’s biggest celebration will be theFaire la fete, a high-end, multi-course guest chef dinner featuring great chefs of Pascal’s alumn, slated for fall 2015. The not-to-miss dinner will boast courses from chefs who have worked at Pascal’s over the years, honoring the man behind it all. The dinners will have extremely limited seating and will likely be priced at $150 per person. The line-up and menus are in development and will be announced in the coming months.
