My parents were visiting and because my mom is such a foodie, I decided to finally pay a visit to Paradise Farms. I have been trying to make it down to Homestead to visit this farm for ages! It is quite a drive but one that you can enjoy with friends or family.
We arrived at the farms and it was Easter so it was a little special. As we walked into the farm, cold ice tea was available and it was very tasty. Some crackers and hummus for those who were hungry were also available. Everything to me looked and tasted organic which is what I would expect at a farm.
There were about 15-20 people and soon we were going to start the guided tour of the edible flowers that can be found at the farm.
The menu was created by chef Kira Volz
My favorite part was when I peaked into the dining area. There were about 10 tables beautifully prepared for the group. As soon as we sat down, a nice glass of mimosa was served to everyone and the chef introduced what we were going to have.
My favorite bite was the organic salad. Not only this dish looked very appetizing but it tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned.
The dessert was exquisite. The yogurt was exquisite, very taste, almost like I forgot how real yogurt tasted like when I tried this one. The strawberries (and everything we ate) was harvested at the farm so it couldn't get more fresh than that.
Overall I had a wonderful time at Paradise Farms.
