September is National Bourbon Heritage Month and Council Oak Steaks & Seafood at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is the perfect place for aficionados to celebrate. The award-winning steakhouse, bar and lounge offers two high-end tableside cocktails which highlights its commitment to superior service by offering an immersive experience to guests. For a lavish riff on a classic, the Smoked Rare Manhattan ($95) features Macallan Rare Cask Single Malt Whisky, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, orange bitters, sugar cube and smoked cinnamon sticks. The cocktail is then mixed, smoked tableside and poured over an ice sphere. In addition to the tableside cocktail, Council Oak is home to a bottle of the limited-edition Pappy Van Winkle 25. Guests can sip on this exclusive pour as part of the restaurant’s One Ounce Club for $495. Fit for bourbon enthusiasts and spirits connoisseurs, the restaurant is also launching “The Ultimate Pappy Experience” flight ($375) highlighting half-ounce pours of Pappy Van Winkle’s 20-year, 23-year and 25-year varieties. Pappy Van Winkle 25 is the oldest and most expensive bourbon bottle produced by the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery. Distilled in 1989, the bourbon was stored at the Van Winkle family distillery before it was moved to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in 2002 where it continued to age for another 12 years.
