Miami, Florida, December 21 2012– Miami Culinary Tours, a small local company forged with a team of knowledgeable and passionate foodies guiding the two popular Miami food tours, announced today their release of restaurant recommendations for their guests just right in time for high season in South Beach. Miami Culinary Tours guides travelers and locals alike through exclusive epicurean adventures while stopping at some of the best restaurants in Miami for tastings at each stop. Participants recognize the importance of food in travel and celebrate the authentic culinary experiences around Miami historic neighborhoods - but knowing where to go can be difficult to navigate in a city with so many options.
“We are asked all the time at the end of the South Beach and the Little Havana Food Tours what restaurants we recommend besides the ones we visit at each of our tours. It is important for us to keep up with what is good and what is not that good in Miami as our guests expect to have a handful of great restaurant recommendations for their stay in Miami” - says Grace Della, founder of Miami Culinary Tours.
Less than 10 restaurants made their list of Top places to dine around Miami that is given to each tour participant at the end of the tours. They are a great representation of the culinary diversity that can be found in Miami. Starting with several option on the beach such as one of local’s favorite called My Ceviche located at 235 Washington Avenue. My Ceviche made the list for their freshest ceviche in town, followed by SuViche located at 1119 16th Street for their creative Japanese Peruvian flair. They couldn’t leave out Yardbird located at 1600 Lenox Ave. as many of Miami Culinary Tours’ guests come from all over the world wanting to taste that Ol’ great American comfort food from the south - and Yardbird just has it. For those who want to splurge a little, Casa Tua located at 1700 James Ave. is a place they recommend with complete confidence for their exquisite cuisine and overall experience. La Marea at the King and Grove Tides located at 1220 Ocean Drive also made the list for their sophisticated cuisine and dramatic ocean views over a casual lunch on the Terrace.
Outside Miami Beach they choose Blue Collar located at 6730 Biscayne Blvd. for their out-of-the-world modern American cuisine with a real local ambiance that is sometimes hard to find in South Beach. For a trip to Argentina without the need of a passport, they recommend Graziano’s located at 394 Giralda Ave. in Coral Gables for their exceptional South American wine selection and traditional homemade empanadas - and for a true taste of France, La Bouchon Du Grove located at 3430 Main Hwy. made the list and it is where Miami Culinary Tours’ team go to splurge a little, and therefore, they highly recommend it.
