J. Wakefield Brewing, Wynwood’s only independently-owned craft brewery, is hosting a party with Dope and Dank on Thursday, December 6th, during Art Basel week, to launch a special beer collaboration. The beer release begins at noon and the party starts at 6:00 p.m.
Dope and Dank is a national organization headed by Beny Ashburn (The Dope) and Teo Hunter (The Dank), which promotes diversity in the craft beer world.
The fruit of their collaboration, The Glow Up (9% ABV), a northeast style, double IPA will be released on Thursday from noon to 6:00 p.m., in 4 packs of 16oz cans, for $22. Limits may apply.
DJ Sage will be providing the soundtrack and Purple People Eatery (noon-6:00 p.m.) and Food Dude (6:00 p.m.-midnight) will be providing the eats.
