New Happy Hours In South Florida

MIAMI DADE

Artisan Beach House: Sip and savor the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean during the waterfront restaurant’s daily Happy Hour from 4PM to 6PM. Enjoy light bites for $6 each prepared by celebrated chef Paula DaSilva, such as Charred Cauliflower with jalapeño tahini; Toast topped with Porchetta, romesco, and radish slaw; Smoked Fish Dip; and Truffle Duckfat Fries with aioli dipping sauce. Cheers to drink specials including well spirits for $10; draft and bottled beer for $5; and wines by the glass for $8. Wind down on Wednesdays with half-off bottles of champagne and wine from 6PM-10PM. Start the weekend with live music in the lounge on Friday nights from 6PM to 8PM. Big Easy Winebar & Grill: Locals and tourists alike can experience the flavors of the Western Cape region of South Africa at Easy Hour every weekday from 4PM-7PM. The restaurant, located in Miami’s new Brickell City Centre, is a project in partnership with golf icon turned winemaker Ernie Els who is affectionately nicknamed “The Big Easy” for his manner, stature and gentle disposition. The new Easy Hour follows that same laid-back feel with draft beers for $5 and half-off wines by the glass (regularly priced at $10-$18). Flights of both white and red South African Wines are $12 and include two-ounce tastings of select bottles. Diners can also enjoy customizing their Easy Hour bites with the Too Easy Plank ($10), a selection of two items from the appetizer menu including the Fried Green Tomatoes; Oyster Gazpacho Shots; Boerie Bites; Pork Belly “Lollipops”; or Mini Cauliflower Samosas. River Yacht Club: Enjoy $8 Bar Bites and premium $9 Throwback Cocktails and wine while overlooking the Miami River, Tuesday through Friday from 4PM to 7PM. Visitors can enjoy savory bites including Mini Prime Cheeseburgers; Grouper Bites; a trio of Ceviche; and Mini Crab Cakes. Beaker & Gray: Widely considered one of the region’s foremost best new restaurants and a premier watering hole, Beaker & Gray is sweetening up their Happy Hour deals with two new promotions – monthly Instant Karma and late night happy hour Refuge For Night-crawlers. Co-owners Brian Nasajon and Ben Potts are upping the ante with Instant Karma; each month, the hip eatery will join forces with a local non-profit organization and donate a percentage of their Happy Hour proceeds to benefit the cause. The Instant Karma promotion takes place Monday through Thursday during the fourth week of every month.

Offering a Refuge For Night-crawlers, the restaurant’s Happy Hour returns with a second round from 11PM-2AM every Monday through Thursday featuring a playful line-up of libations and bites. Late night happy hour goers can enjoy tastes from the special menu including Grilled Cheese – smoked ham, Swiss cheese and pickles; Ricotta – Black Mission fig, Thai basil and Citterio chorizo; and Spanish Octopus with cilantro, watermelon and palmito. Drink specials include classic $7 craft cocktails, such as the Moscow Mule, Tom Collins, Daiquiri, Margarita, and Old Fashioned, as well as house liquors like Stoli, Flor de Cana 4-Year, Maestro Dobel Tequila, Old Forester Bourbon and Rittenhouse Rye. Imbibers can also have their pick of $5 beers including Pacifico, 6 Point Crisp, Full Sail Session Wheat Ale and Founders All Day IPA. Pizza & Burger by Michael Mina: The savory summer pop-up from nationally acclaimed star chef Michael Mina now has a permanent home at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The affordable and approachable concept inspired by Michael Mina’s own backyard kitchen is perfect for after-work and late-night libations. Tables are adorned with games; a lively atmosphere and upbeat music, making guests feel like they are at a casual backyard bash with a menu to match the vibe. During Social Hour 5 – 7PM and Reverse Hour 11 PM – Midnight, guests can enjoy a bevy of options from specialty cocktails and punches on tap to wines and locally and regionally brewed beers. Beers on tap are ½ priced, wine is $5 and when you buy any one of the specialty cocktails or punches you get the second drink for $1. Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grill: Enjoy half off drinks ($14 and under) and select oysters at Fort Lauderdale’s favorite high-end seafood spot, Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grill. Happy Hour takes place every day from 5PM to 7PM. Every Thursday, guests can enjoy an extended Happy Hour that spans from 5PM to close. Burlock Coast: Every Thursday from 10PM – late, imbibers will move to the old school beats spun by DJ Carsonicboom and sip on $8 Southern American Prohibition inspired cocktails and bites. Cocktails include The Aviation made with gin, maraschino Liqueur, crème de violette and lemon juice; El Presidente made with light rum, orange curacao, dry vermouth and grenadine; Pisco Sour with Pisco, fresh lime juice, egg white, simple syrup and bitters and a plethora of rum and gin inspired libations.
