Cocktails for Halloween in Miami!

We’ve chosen Italian brand Strega liqueur ($40.00 per 750 mL bottle) for our cocktails. This herbal spirit has a distinctive yellow color (due to the presence of saffron) and a sweetness and viscosity that you might not expect from an 80 proof (40% alc/vol) digestif. Strega includes around 70 herbal ingredients, two of which are mint and fennel, giving it confierous notes a complex flavor.

Cocktail #1 Strega Witchcraft

To create this bewitching cocktail, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 oz Strega
  • Grapefruit cordial
  • ½ Lemon juice
  • Basil
  • Orange
  • Grapefruit soda

Pour the Strega, grapefruit cordial, and lemon juice into a shaker with ice cubes, then pour the mixture into a glass full of ice and fill with grapefruit soda. Garnish with basil and orange before serving.
