On Monday, Apr. 3, 2017, Whole Foods Market is partnering with Florida native and Top Chef Winner Jeremy Ford, for an exclusive three-course sustainable dinner and wine pairing benefitting Miami Waterkeeper. Miami Waterkeeper’s mission is to protect South Florida’s watershed, ensuring swimmable, drinkable, fishable water for all.
They will also be the beneficiary of the Whole Foods Market 5% Day event on April 4th, where all Miami-Dade Whole Foods Market stores will donate 5% of net sales in support of the local non-profit’s mission.
“We are so honored that Whole Foods Market, Jeremy Ford, and Grove Properties are uniting for this unique event to raise awareness and to support the work that Miami Waterkeeper undertakes in the community,” said Miami Waterkeeper Executive Director and Waterkeeper, Rachel Silverstein.
Chef Ford’s skillfully designed menu will include fresh produce and high-quality ingredients provided by Whole Foods Market with a focus on sustainability. Complementing the vibrant menu will be wine pairings from award-winning wines of Bonterra Organic Vineyards, named American Winery of the Year in 2016 by Wine Enthusiast.
Priced at $175 per person, one hundred percent of ticket sales from this intimate affair will directly benefit Miami Waterkeeper’s mission for clean water in South Florida. To purchase tickets, visit: miamiwaterkeeper.org/5_day_dinner.
