Essensia’s Miami Spice 2011 Menus Exemplify Natural Gourmet Cuisine

WHAT: Essensia’s Executive Chef Frank Jeannetti and his culinary team have created Miami Spice Month menus that reflect the restaurant’s natural gourmet dining philosophy by utilizing wholesome, locally sourced, organic, and seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are bursting with flavor. Menu highlights include Organic Arugula & Grilled Summer Peach Salad served with Prosciutto di Parma, crumbled goat cheese, and fig balsamic syrup; Chilled Cucumber & Avocado Soup served with Mint Yogurt; Kimchi BBQ’d Jumbo Shrimp served with pickled radish and savoy cabbage slaw; Pan Seared Local Cobia Citrus served with quinoa salad, enoki mushrooms, crisp capers and orange infused oil; Anise Honey Glazed Organic Pork Tenderloin served with Carrot-English pea risotto, Caribbean ratatouille and black currant jam; Summer Plum Crisp served with honey oat streusel, ginger cream puffs, and toasted almond ice cream. Miami Spice Month is an annual restaurant promotion that showcases the very best of South Florida’s cuisine. The promotion, which is organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), begins August 1 through September 30, and offers $22 lunch and $35 dinner specials consisting of three-course, prix fixe menus.
