COYO Taco Updates

With locations across Magic City, COYO Taco delivers Miami’s freshest Mexican street food experience. And as leaders in Miami food and culture tours, we couldn’t be happier to have so many locations to choose from. In the city, you can find COYO Taco in Wynwood, Brickell, Coral Gables, and South Miami — and further up the coast, they have a great spot in Fort Lauderdale too.

But COYO Taco’s success has gone international! They serve up fresh Mexican street food in the Dominican Republic, Panama, Portugal, and France. That’s a worldwide endorsement of mouthwatering meals! Check out COYO Taco’s locations to find the restaurant closest to you.

At Miami Culinary Tours, we want to keep fellow foodies up to date with our favorite restaurants, including COYO Taco. If you have any questions about our culture and food tours in Miami, please feel free to contact us.

About COYO Taco

Let’s get to know COYO Taco a little bit better. In January 2015, Coyoacan native Alan Drummond, along with vibe visionary Sven Vogtland, joined forces with seasoned chef/partner Scott Linquist to create a restaurant concept that the city of Miami has come to know and love. COYO Taco, a trendy and laid-back taqueria serving authentic Mexican fare with a modern twist, was born. Their flagship restaurant-venue is located in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District and is open for lunch, dinner, and late-night service. We explore this vibrant part of the city on our Wynwood Food and Street Art tour!

The chic, yet simple space features indoor/outdoor dining with communal seating, and a speakeasy lounge complete with a collection of Mezcals and a weekly rotation of cutting-edge music programming, all complemented by a state-of-the-art sound system.

And they truly deliver on the claim of offering Miami’s freshest street food experience. At COYO, guacamole is smashed to order and tortillas are handcrafted in the Mexican tradition. Staying true to its ‘todo es fresco’ or ‘everything fresh’ philosophy, produce is locally sourced, meat and seafood are naturally raised, and signature margaritas are made from scratch.

COYO Taco Updates

Throughout the year, and across its many locations, COYO Taco hosts exciting events and specials. In Wynwood, COYO Taco frequently has some of the hottest DJs in town playing at their venue, while they arrange parties for special dates like Cinco de Mayo and Fourth of July. With so many thrilling locations and events happening, we recommended following their Facebook page for the latest updates and upcoming events!
