Salt & Straw will be offering its fan-favorite Ice SCREAM menu through the month of October. In the spirit of Halloween, kids 16 and under who visit Salt & Straw in costume on Sunday, October 31 will receive one (1) complimentary scoop of ice cream in the flavor of their choice in a cup or sugar cone. Salt & Straw’s classic flavors will be available alongside the seasonal Halloween-themed flavors which include: The Great Candycopia with swarms of housemade trick-or-treat favorites-—Kit Kats, Reeses, Snickers and Heath bars-— folded into a diabolically delicious salted butterscotch ice cream; Jack o' Lantern Pumpkin Bread made with one crooked smile of Jack, a pinch of warm spice, the tender hunks of a just-baked pumpkin bread, and generous swaths of whipped cream cheese frosting; Don Bugito’s Creepy Crawly Critters, with dozens of critters hiding in the grass by way of this matcha ice cream with toffee-brittle mealworms and chocolate crickets. Don Bugito in Oakland provided the delicious bugs, Salt & Straw delivered the creepy; Black Cat Licorice & Lavender, an ominous, unexpected flavor, where Salt & Straw has conjured up superstition with a silky, pitch-dark anise and fennel caramel with luminous salted lavender ice cream; and Double Bubble Toil & Trouble (v), made by combining every color of fruit into a pot, while puffs of ethereal blue fizzle and shoot, creating this potion of bright bubble gum. Additionally, for a limited time only, while supplies last, Salt & Straw shops will offer a Haunted Waffle Cone that has been transformed into a delightful black and festive treat. The Ice SCREAM menu is available now through October 31 by the scoop ($6.25) or by the pint ($12.50) at the Wynwood and Coconut Grove locations. Salt & Straw Wynwood is located at 246 NW 25th Street; and Salt & Straw Coconut Grove is located at 3015 Grand Avenue in CocoWalk.
