Special Collaborative Dinner – Wednesday, June 28th
WHO/WHAT: Wynwood’s premier eatery and watering hole, Beaker & Gray, and celebrated Fort Lauderdale oceanfront restaurant, Burlock Coast, are teaming up for a Fort Lauderdale/Miami inspired four-course feast on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. The one-night-only event, combining two South Florida culinary powerhouses, will be a rare opportunity for diners and imbibers from any area code to experience the flavors of two of the region’s top spots. In keeping with Beaker & Gray’s year-long, monthly Instant Karma philanthropy program, a portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Beaker & Gray’s June Instant Karma partner, Best Buddies South Florida.
Upon arrival, guests will be treated to unique cocktail creations by Ben Potts of Beaker & Gray and JP of Burlock Coast. “We’re definitely going to have some fun behind the bar,” promises Potts, the man behind Beaker & Gray’s amazing drinks program and its co-owner. “Whether it’s Lauderdale’s rep as ‘Spring Break Central’ or a nod to the Miami Vice years, we’re definitely going to embrace each city’s history.” Following the cocktail reception, diners will enjoy a four course dinner created by Beaker & Gray chef/owner Brian Nasajon and Burlock Coast chef de cuisine Gavin Pera. The menu is still in development but the chefs promise a unique experience. “This isn’t a platform to serve food that people can have at either of our restaurants,” says Pera. “Brian and I are working on special dishes meant for the 954 in the 305 dinner specifically.”
