Beaker & Gray Kicks Off Instant Karma

New Happy Hour Fuels Non-profits’ Power

Widely considered one of the region’s foremost best new restaurants and a premier watering hole, Beaker & Gray is sweetening up their Happy Hour deals with a new Instant Karma promotion. Co-owners Brian Nasajon and Ben Potts are upping the ante with Instant Karma; each month, the hip eatery will join forces with a local non-profit organization and donate a percentage of their Happy Hour proceeds to benefit the cause.

“We love the feeling of camaraderie in Wynwood,” said owner/executive chef Brian Nasajon. “As a group of small business owners, it’s important for us to not only support our neighbors but also the community. We’re an independent business and wanted to start the new year by spreading some good karma and paying it forward.”

“Brian and I feel a strong connection to our neighborhood roots being that we are both Miami natives,” added owner/bar manager Ben Potts. “Now that we’re in a position to make a difference we feel that it’s our responsibility to partner with local organizations that can share in our success.”

The restaurant’s Instant Karma promotion will occur the fourth week of every month. From that Monday through Thursday, a percentage of Happy Hour sales will benefit a different local non-profit/charity organization. Kicking off the initiative will be Beaker & Gray’s partnership with Audubon Florida, whose mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.

Happy Hour and wildlife enthusiasts can visit the hotspot from Monday, February 20 through Thursday, February 23 and enjoy bites such as Grilled Cheese – smoked ham, Swiss cheese and pickles; Croquettes – wagyu, Manchego cheese and jerk-aioli; savory Mochi – dill, coconut, togarashi; and a variety of cocktails, beers and wines to wash it all down. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, Noon to 4PM; dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 6PM to 11PM, and Friday and Saturday from 6PM to Midnight. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 4PM. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, 4PM-7PM & Monday through Thursday, 11PM to 2AM.
