Executive Chef Miguel Aguilar Explores Flavors of Europe with Monthly Culinary Showcase
On the heels of last summer’s wildly popular “Taste of the Americas” dining program, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar (WKB), Miami’s hotspot regarded for its cutting-edge art and inventive menu of Global-Latino small plates, continues its celebration of cuisine from around the world with a tasting menu focused on European delights. In a three-month long series, Executive Chef Miguel Aguilar, will showcase dishes from Spain in June, Germany in July and Portugal in August, while still incorporating the bold Latin flavors that WKB is known for.
“Last year’s program was a huge hit with our guests,” says Aguilar. “We were able to showcase how the rich flavors of Latin cuisine are represented across the Americas and are excited to explore a new region to offer guests a taste of Europe this summer.”
The summer tasting menu will be available during lunch or dinner every Wednesday throughout June beginning on Wednesday, June 4th. In the first installment of the monthly series, adventurous foodies can embark on a culinary tour through Spain with a la carte dishes to include:
Stuffed Piquillo Peppers ($10)
Crab meat, manchego cheese, aji amarillo
Meat and Cheese Plate ($16)
Duck prosciutto, San Simon and Tetilla cheeses
Chorizo Croquette ($9)
Potatoes, béchamel, chive crema
White Sangria ($11)
In addition to the Spanish specialties, diners can indulge on Chef Aguilar’s regular a la carte menu of Global-Latino small plates, meant to mix and match, as well as creative craft cocktails.
