Special Veggie-Forward Menu Available For A Limited Time In August And September
This summer at Coconut Grove’s neighborhood gem, Glass & Vine, Executive Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli is crafting a special pre-fixe menu showcasing some of the playful and creative interpretations of fresh produce that he has become known for. Available from August 1 to September 30, 2017, diners looking for a veggie-friendly dining destination can enjoy seven dishes for $39 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).
The menu features signature Glass & Vine favorites as well as new seasonal items. The popular watermelon salad meets Rapicavoli’s Florida stracciatella topped with fragrant basil and California olive oil. Refreshing heirloom tomatoes are like a vegetarian “ceviche” with leche de tigre, cilantro, and jalapeño. It wouldn’t be summer without grilling, and charred cauliflower with herbed tahini and crispy chickpeas is the perfect smoky cruciferous delight, along with sweet corn sprinkled with lime crema and queso cotija. On the savory side, the house made semolina pasta with green pea pesto and breadcrumbs is a beloved comfort food favorite among patrons.
To end the meal on a sweet note, a rich guava bread pudding is paired with cream cheese ice cream and topped with toasted coconut.
In addition to the unique veggie options, diners can enjoy Happier Hour every weekday from 2PM to 7PM. Chill out with half-off all wines by the glass, $5 beers, and $8 specialty cocktails.
