Miami is a fantastic city to be in all year. The weather is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, the people look great, and there is always a good party. October brings out a special group of people that flocks to Miami for awesome October events. These groups includes zombies, foodies, party goers, monsters, runners, and children.
Zombie Walk
Lincoln Road October 6th
This is certainly an entertaining event that Rob Zombie will try not to miss. Last year over 300 people put on their best zombie walk and marched down Lincoln Road. This year they expect many more as this is becoming a highly touted event. This year you have been asked to follow the them of reality TV shows so expect to see a zombie Snookie in Miami.
Oktober Brickell Festivities
Thursday October 6th- Saturday October 8th
Central Park Miami
Not only will you get your drink on all weekend at this event while chowing down on authentic German Food. You’ll get to dance to some awesome Polka music while chugging some Sam Adams Oktoberfest. This event is all weekend long and I don’t know of one Oktoberfest that isn’t worth attending.
Run Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon
October 29th
This run that takes place along the beach in Miami is one of the best races and attracts some of the biggest crowds. Some of the people running don their best costumes. Picture the Cape Crusader, Superman, Spiderman, or Catwoman competing to win the marathon. Registration is now open
House of Horror
September 29th-October 31st
Miami International Mall
The House of Horror is the largest haunted house in Miami. It is located in the mall parking lot and plays out with live actors who are looking to scare the living daylights out of you. There is plenty of food (make sure you take a good look at it before you eat it), music, and the lines move fast. This is definitely the place to be on Halloween.
Monster Mash
October 31st
Senator Gwen Margolis Amphitheater
The Monster Mash is an all day event on Halloween that includes a haunted trail, costume contests, crazy Halloween themed food, monster music, rock walls, bounce houses rides and more. This event is held in North Miami and is only $4 to attend.
