Share Our Strength, the minds behind Taste of the Nation, hold this event in every major city throughout the United States in hopes to end childhood hunger in America. What began as a culinary benefit event held separately for Miami and Ft Lauderdale for over 20 years has combined into one massive event within the past year. A chic evening of epicurean food and wine, Taste of the Nation features chefs from over 50 restaurants and vendors catering to both Miami and Fort Lauderdale. These chefs include Allen Susser, Timon Balloo, and Michael Schwartz. The evening also includes live music along with live, silent and wine auctions.
100 percent of ticket sales for this event benefit Share Our Strength’s mission to end childhood hunger. In 2013, Share Our Strength raised over $160,000 for this cause.
