FONTAINEBLEAU MIAMI BEACH RATED IN ZAGAT’S 2012 AMERICA’S TOP RESTAURANTS GUIDE
Zagat’s 2012 America’s Top Restaurants Guide has singled out Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s renowned Italian eatery Scarpetta and authentic Chinese restaurant Hakkasan for excellence. Zagat’s traditional ratings for both restaurants included accolades from “Extraordinary to Perfection” in various categories from food, service and décor citing “superior Dim Sum” for Hakkassan and “the best polenta this side of heaven” for Scarpetta.
Hakkasan’s authentic Dim Sum, served Saturday and Sunday, combines a la carte options and elegant prix fixe menus at an affordable $28 per person filled with delectable dining choices that include congee, stir fry, soups, vegetables and dumplings that are seared, deep fried and steamed.
Scarpetta’s rating arrives on the heels of its third anniversary complete with the celebration of its new glass-enclosed patio and menu additions – including steak tartare accented with quail egg and crispy shiitake; butternut squash with almonds and parmigiano; and diver sea scallops adorned with chesnuts, butternut spaetzle and lobster guazetto.
As the world’s original and leading provider of user-generated content, Zagat enlisted the votes of 156,000 food lovers who collectively ate out 25 million times in the past year to create the 2012 America’s Top Restaurants guide. Released on Friday, October 21, the book features reviews and ratings of 1,578 of the best eateries in 45 markets across the U.S.
