Piripi restaurant, the recently opened Spanish restaurant helmed by Chef Najat Kaanache has already drawn raves for its stunning atmosphere and stellar cuisine since opening just last month. Located in the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables, the restaurant has now introduced Mediodía, a daily prix-fixe lunch menu with gourmet selections sure to delight anyone who works, shops, and lives near Coral Gables.
Priced at $25 per person (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity), guests will be able to indulge in three courses highlighting Chef Najat’s favorite dishes. Choices include appetizers like Andalusian Gazpacho with sweet and sour watermelon and spicy garlic or the Ensalada Donostiarra with Verde Farms greens and txakoli vinaigrette. Main plate options include Atún Cola Amarilla, seared tuna with white asparagus and shishito peppers; Andalusian Forager, happy chicken with eggplant and PX sherry or Arros del Dia, a rice dish changing daily based on the freshest ingredients available. End lunch on a sweet note with Chef Najat’s signature Crema Catalana, her take on a staple made with Catalan cream and a touch of elderflower.
The restaurant’s full lunch menu is also available daily featuring a la carte options including the signature Piripikoteos – Piripi’s take on small bites – such as Pa Amb Oli ($6), crusty bread, crushed tomato, olive oil or Oliba Politak ($8), marinated mountain olives, perfect to share at the start of the meal.
