Paula Da Silva began her main career at 3030 Ocean in Fort Lauderdale under the tutelage of chef Dean James Max in 2000. Eventually, she got hired as executive Chef at 1500º , earning the restaurant the bragging rights of being the only Florida restaurant featured in Esquire‘s “Best New Restaurants in America.” During her time at 1500º at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach, Paula Da Silva was a semi-finalist for Best Chef:South (2012). 2013 saw Da Silva leaving 1500º and returning to 3030 Ocean as executive chef, where she highlights the flavors and freshness of South Florida’s local ingredients.
