This weekend Moxy South Beach has something for every trick or treater, from fitness classes, a pop-up market, and an evening of Dia de Los Muertos art. The fun starts at 8AM with Trick or Treat Yoga by Bibi Julz (@bibi_julz) followed by Glutes Check at 9 AM with Starr Hawkins (@BabyMommaFit). Following, guests can browse the Vecinos Market pop up and indulge in Halloween treats from local bakers plus gift ideas from beauty, wellness, fashion, and sweets.
Later in the evening in advance of Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Moxy South Beach will be showcasing the one of kind “Palmarius” sculpture by multidisciplinary contemporary artist Enrique Cabrera. Día de los Muertos, while deeply rooted in Mexican culture, is now celebrated all over the world when family members of the departed share memories of loved ones through lively parades, altar building and traditional dress. Additionally, Manfred Delgado a Miami-based street artist will have several pieces of art on display in addition to a live painting of Enrique Cabrera’s “Palmarius” at the Moxy South Beach where the sculpture will be displayed on Saturday, October 30 from 7 – 9PM during cocktail hour where guests can enjoy specially priced cocktails, followed by an evening of dancing at Mezcalista.
