The Miami Chamber of Commerce will host the return of its highly anticipated 95thAnnual Gala on Saturday, June 3 benefiting the Education Foundation.

The recipient of the 2016 “Best Community Impact” award by Action Coach organization, the Education Foundation continues to bring together the strengths and resources of the community to support the needs of public education in Miami Beach by stimulating greater governmental and public awareness, appreciation for public education and support of public education in Miami Beach via events and initiatives, such as the Annual Miami Beach Chamber Dinner Gala & Silent Auction.

Attended by community business leaders, the Gala receives scholarship funds and support from philanthropists whose donations help fund programming costs for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs available at all the public schools in the City of Miami Beach. The IB Program helps develop the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills of students from age 3 to 19. In addition to this program, the Education Foundation is able to provide scholarships at the end of each school year to graduating seniors at Miami Beach Senior High School, and allocates a small portion on the grants to the Foundation’s Link Project, teachers also receive grants ranging from $300 – $1,000.

This year, the Chamber is honoring six distinguished pillars of the Miami Beach community with a magical affair gala for their continued commitment while also celebrating the success of Miami Beach and the business community. Guests will be WOWed with entertainment featuring a special magical showcase by Merlin Award winner, Enigma, interactive experiences, bottle service lounges, and tableside magic featuring Miami Beach’s MIO and live music by The Clique. NBC 6’s Kelly Blanco along with Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman of the Board, Wayne Pathman will emcee.
