On Tuesday, February 14, Mercadito Midtown gives guests a sweet reason to celebrate with a special, five-course sharing menu created by Chef/Partner Patricio Sandoval. The menu – featuring the restaurant’s signature guacamole, tacos, botanas, ceviches and desserts is $45 per person – and ideal for a romantic evening or a night out with friends!
Guests can choose two of Mercadito’s mouthwatering guacamoles such as the Toreado, made with sauteéd chile serrano, garlic, oregano and tomatillo pico de gallo or the Manzana, which includes apple, tomatillo pico de gallo, chile morita and crispy sweet potato. The second course includes a choice of one ceviche such as the Dorado, a mix of mahi mahi, Asian pear and plantain chips in a tamarind-chipotle broth. The third course offers a selection of two tacos including the Pastor, chile ancho rubbed pork, grilled pineapple with chile dearbol salsa, or the Hongos, including wild mushrooms, huitlacoche, manchego cheese and salsa verde. The sharing menu also includes one side dish to share and ends on a sweet note with a tasting of Flan.
