Lincoln Road’s Sizzling Steakhouse to Offer Cocktail-Pairing Dinner with Mount Gay® Rum
On Tuesday, December 17, Miami Beach’s sexy, upscale steakhouse will present A Storied Night Supper – a four-course prix-fixe tasting menu featuring delectable steak and seafood creations by acclaimed executive chef Sean Brasel. Priced at $75 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), the dinner will offer some of Miami’s finest American cuisine paired with Mount Gay® Rum cocktails designed by renowned mixologist Ezra Pattek. Guests are in for a treat when this dynamic duo gets together; Brasel’s bold, flavorful dishes pair perfectly with Pattek’s hand-crafted cocktails, which use only fresh fruit, herbs and spices.
The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. beginning with an amuse bouche of conch ceviche spoons with coconut, lime and rum; curried carrot soup shots topped with basil rum foam; and rum BBQ braised lamb spare ribs. To accompany the lite bites, Pattek’s Black Barrel Daiquiri – Mount Gay® Black Barrel Rum, fresh lime, sugar and a touch of Campari – will be a refreshing palate cleanser. For the first course, guests will enjoy achiote-marinated shrimp and scallops with celeriac purée, roasted pepper and papaya salad. The Mercado – a tropical blend of Mount Gay® 1703 Rum, passion fruit, fresh lime, mint and habanero – packs a punch while complementing the delicately spiced seafood. Next, wood grilled Texas quail with a rum molasses glaze, sweet corn pudding tartlets and sous-vide purple endive will be served with a classic Dark n Stormy – Mount Gay® Eclipse Rum, fresh lime, house-made falernum and ginger beer, topped with a Mount Gay® Extra Old Rum floater. For the third course, diners will sample one of Meat Market’s signature delicacies – Snake River Farms Waygu beef shoulder wrapped with apple-smoked bacon and sliced on sweet potato and plantain hash and truffle honey glazed miatake mushrooms. This posh dish calls for a truly sophisticated cocktail; Pattek’s Barbadon Manhattan – Mount Gay® Black Barrel Rum, sweet vermouth, peppercorn honey syrup and aromatic bitters – elegantly highlights the unmistakable flavor and freshness of the Waygu beef. To finish the meal, white chocolate passion fruit & almond bread pudding with rum crème Anglaise and passion fruit fluid gel will be offered for dessert. The Extra Old Fashioned – Mount Gay® Extra Old Rum, white crème de cacao and tiki bitters – will be a sweet, velvety ending to the array of refined cuisine and cocktails.
