Max’s Grille, the only original in Mizner Park in Boca Raton, has closed for ten days to complete the first phase of a significant remodeling effort. The restaurant is expected to reopen for dinner on September 22nd at 5 p.m. Due to ongoing renovations during the fall and the upcoming 25th Anniversary Celebration, Bar Brawls will be postponed. The restaurant closed on Sunday, September 11th after dinner service.
As part of the renovations, much of which were made necessary because of water damage during the March 24th flood in Boca Raton, ceiling soffits will be repaired and repainted, the kitchen floor will be replaced, banquettes will be recovered in deep red tufted leather, the outside patio seating will be replaced with new wicker chairs and the outside bar will be refinished with a white granite top. Subsequent phases of the remodeling will not require the restaurant to close, but will include new lighting, new chairs, a redesign of the inside bar area seating, and a restoration of the bar overhang to its original look from 25 years ago.
“We are excited to celebrate our 25th anniversary this year by revitalizing the restaurant, inside and out.” Dennis Max said.
Max’s Grille will celebrate its 25th Anniversary on October 6th with a party for restaurant VIP’s, current and former employees.
