On September 14, 2015, the highly anticipated, internationally inspired, Marion opens its doors in Brickell. Located one block south of Mary Brickell Village, at 1111 SW 1st Avenue, Marion is a grand café, market, bakery, and oyster bar inspired by the simple elegance of European culinary life and design. Blending flavors from countries and cultures all around the Mediterranean, Marion is sure to strike an “Epicurean Love Affair” with Miami’s finest gourmands.

Offering a truly unique experience for all patrons, executive chef, Jean Paul Lourdes, brings with him an impressive culinary pedigree, having worked at three-star Michelin restaurants in Paris, Tokyo, London and Hong Kong. Lourdes has also had the honor of cooking at the James Beard House in New York as well as the annual Chefs & Champagne event in the Hamptons.  The executive chef is joined by the internationally experienced pastry chef, Christina Kaelberer, who has worked under Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten as executive pastry chef of Market in the W Boston and Spice Market in New York. Kaelberer delivers desserts just as memorable and flirtatious as the restaurant itself.

Marion is a neighborhood meeting place, transporting visitors to a land of intoxicating aromas and artisanal delights from the moment they set foot on the mixed mosaic of broken marble and terrazzo floor. By fusing tradition with modernity, in both cuisine and design, Marion’s twist on the time-honored European café culture offers locals a concept never before experienced whether they choose to dine at the restaurant or grab-and-go.
