Faena LIVE, in partnership with M2 Connections, proudly presents legendary Brazilian rock artists Dado Villa-Lobos and Marcela Bonfa in Legião Urbana XXX Años on September 6, at Faena Theater. Celebrating over 30 years since the release of their iconic albums, “Dois” and “Que País É Este”, the original band members will reunite with guest musicians from the group’s last tour to perform Legião Urbana’s most iconic hits.
Reigning supreme in 1980s Brazil, Legião Urbana quickly rose to international fame with its progressive lyrics, European-inspired sound and explicit calls for political reform, a unique flair that attracted a devout following among critics and fans alike.
Legião Urbana XXX Años live in concert is the latest installment of Faena Theater’s “Sounds of Brazil”, a unique series of premier acoustic shows featuring the best of Brazilian artists with national and international followings. Past Sounds of Brazil performers at Faena Miami Beach include Vanessa da Mata, Paulo Ricardo and Marina Lima.
