The mischievous elves at Kush Hospitality Group (KHG) are back for the annual Noche Noche Buena charity celebration held at La Cocina Cocteleria. The event is taking place on Thursday, December 23, KHG’s super-Hialeah watering hole in the Leah Arts District, the night before the night before Christmas eve. The festive evening, kicking off at 6PM, will feature everything that makes Christmas in Miami unlike any other. Sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, event highlights include a holiday market from local vendors; live plenero music, complimentary plates of lechon asado (while supplies last); domino tables on the bar’s outdoor patio; cigars and more. Instead of Elf on the Shelf ®, there will be 12 days of La Cocina’s mascot, Pata Sucia Patty. In the spirit of giving, the event will include a partnership with local non-profit Shoes for Streets (@shoesforstreets), which will be collecting new and used shoes for the homeless. Anyone donating will receive a raffle ticket for a variety of prizes. The night will end with a complimentary shot of Kush’s signature coquito. La Cocina is located at 1000 East 16 Street in Hialeah. Open Friday and Saturday, 7PM-2AM. Telephone: (305) 887-8863; www.lacocinahialeah.com.
