In the blink of an eye, the holidays are here and the end of 2021 is near and in the spirit of the season, InterContinental Miami has announced a festive lineup of holiday programming. Those flocking to South Florida to escape the winter weather elsewhere as well as local visitors to the property will rejoice with activations located throughout the hotel including a holiday marketplace, visits with Santa, a Christmas feast at Toro Toro and holiday treatments at the spa. The hotel’s holiday programming is as follows.
ICM’s Winter Wonderland
Marvel in Miami’s own Winter Wonderland as InterContinental Miami gets into the holiday spirit with a festive pop-up village featuring holiday activities for the whole family. Beginning Wednesday, December 15 through Sunday, December 26, the hotel’s Holiday Marketplace will feature festive holiday treats for sale such as hot cocoa, Christmas cookies, Hot Toddys, candy and more. From 5PM to 7PM on Friday, December 17, Saturday, December 18 and again on Christmas Eve, a pop-up Santa’s Workshop will be hosted in the property’s Grove Ballroom featuring a holly jolly meet and greet with Santa Claus. In addition, Breakfast with Santa will be held at Ole´ on Sunday, December 19 from 9AM to 11AM.

Toro Toro Christmas Feast
Celebrate Christmas family-style with a Pan-Latin Feast at Toro Toro, chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval’s acclaimed Pan-Latin steakhouse inside the InterContinental Miami. On Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24 beginning at 6PM, and Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25 from 12PM to 8PM, Toro Toro is featuring a prix-fixe Christmas menu, created by Executive Chef Jean Delgado, for $79++ per person. The feast begins with choice of appetizer including Pork Carnitas Robata with plantain tortillas, confit onions and cilantro sauce; Octopus Tiradito complemented by Botija aioli, jalapeño avocado crema and cilantro oil; Truffle Caesar featuring baby gem lettuce, Manchego crisps and truffle dressing; Heirloom Tomato & Avocado Carpaccio with herb ricotta, pickled red onion and pistachio vinaigrette; and Acorn Squash Fritter served with aji amarillo aioli, parmesan and rosemary. The entrée course, which is served family-style, features a choice of protein with options including Double Bone-In Pork Chop served with aji amarillo mojo sauce; Grilled Tiger Prawns with black garlic gremolata; and Bone-in Short Rib complemented by Kabayaki sauce. For an additional $135, guests can upgrade the protein to the restaurant’s iconic Australian Wagyu Tomahawk. The entrée course will be complemented by family-style servings of coconut basmati rice, roasted maitake mushrooms with ponzu sauce and kimchi Brussels sprouts. The decadent feast will finish with dessert featuring a choice between Black Forest Cake served with cherry compote and chocolate ganache and Piña Colada Rum Cake with ice cream. For children ages 12 and under, Toro Toro will offer a kids menu with a choice of Chicken Fingers with fries, Mac & Cheese or Mini Cheeseburger with fries, for $39.
