With the transition into Autumn and cool breezes on the horizon, brunching al fresco will naturally rise once again as South Florida’s trending weekend activity. With an enchanting outdoor garden oasis, Isabelle’s Grill Room & Garden at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami is sure to become a weekend hotspot for open-air dining as the restaurant has unveiled an alluring Weekend Brunch offering a new menu of fresh and indulgent offerings curated by Executive Chef Ashley Stanton. Celebrating the change of seasons, Isabelle’s welcomes locals and hotel guests to an inspired, chic experience that invigorates the senses through vibrant flavors and elegant service on Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 3PM.
Showcasing bold flavors and seasonal ingredients, brunch at Isabelle’s boasts a variety of sweet and savory offerings. To start, highlights include a Smoked Salmon Board served with toasted bagel, roasted tomatoes, red onions, artichoke spread, caperberries and cream cheese; Feta Bruciata with blistered tomatoes and lemon agrodolce; and Grove Acai Bowl topped with berries, banana, wildflower honey, toasted coconut and granola, as well as half and full dozen Seasonal Oysters complemented by serrano and lime mignonette ($9 – $26). Amongst the entrées, savory items include Steak & Eggs served sunny side up with chorizo fingerling hash, avocado and house aioli; Isabelle’s Benedict on an Italian loaf and topped with prosciutto, poached eggs, watercress and hollandaise; Quiche Lorraine with smoked bacon, leeks, caramelized onion and gruyere; Garden Egg White Frittata featuring zucchini, squash, onion, spinach, sundried tomato, goat cheese, fennel and arugula salad; and signature Avocado Toast on country bread, topped with poached eggs, pickled red onion, confit tomatoes and everything spice ($19 – $34). Guests seeking sweet indulgences will delight in plates from the griddle including a Challah French Toast Skillet with brown sugar streusel, pecans, Vermont maple syrup and vanilla bean mascarpone whip, as well as Seasonal Buttermilk Pancakes ($17 – $18).
In addition, brunch offers several delectable handhelds including a Caprese Tartine with grilled tomato, fresh burrata, cucumber, Kalamata tapenade and arbequina; signature Club Burger featuring short rib and American wagyu with applewood smoked bacon, white cheddar, port onion jam and house sauce; and Buttermilk Chicken BLT on toasted ciabatta and topped with Nueski’s bacon, vine ripe tomatoes, aioli and rocket ($22 – $28). A selection of lighter, seasonal options are showcased amongst Market Greens including Spinach & Rocket topped with red quinoa, strawberries, fresh chevre crumbles, Marcona almonds, pickled shallots and blood orange with a champagne vinaigrette and Spring Mizuna with sesame crusted ahi tuna, avocado, jicama, watermelon radish, cucumber and plantain, accompanied by ginger passionfruit vinaigrette ($22 – $32). Finishing on a sweet note, dessert items include Lemon Berry Pavlova with lemon curd and mixed berries; Passionfruit Crème Brûlée complemented by tropical fruit; and Chocolate Praline with hazelnut praline, feuilletine crunch, chocolate cake, ganache and Jivara chocolate mousse ($14 – $16). Of course, no brunch is complete without boozy offerings and as such, Isabelle’s brunch offers bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and Bellini’s for $39 per person.
