Three senior ladies booked this tour, because we all like to eat, experience new cuisines and learn about the areas we visit. The Miami Culinary Tours provided a perky guide who was full of information about numerous topics and specifically South Beach architecture and international foods. We were expecting small samples and in every case, the samples were more like meals! The food was delicious without exception. I’m not a fan of fish, but I ate every bite of the ceviche with passion fruit and thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw great examples of art deco architecture and learned about their preservation board. The tour finished off with two generous scoops of Italian gelato! All three of the ladies declared this the most fun part of our four day trip to Florida! Try it, you won’t regret it!

My boyfriend and I just went to Miami for a long weekend and ended up doing the South Beach Food Tour. We were suggested to try the tour from the owner’s mother. She has a food tour/cooking classes in Argentina that my boyfriend’s family has been to several times and very much enjoyed. So we figured why not try out her daughter’s tour in South Beach while we’re there! It took approximately 2.5 hours. We were in a group of about 12 people. There were couples, friends and even some food journalist from other countries. Everyone was very friendly and excited to try some of South Beach’s best food, which I’m sure added to the experience! We met in a central location and then walked from restaurant to restaurant. Some of the places were “grab and go” and others were sit down. It was a good mix. The weather was beautiful, which added to the experience as well. All of the food we tried was AMAZING!!! Half of the food we tried was food I was familiar with and already knew I liked, whereas the other half of the food were items that I wouldn’t normally order or even try… but I’m sure glad I did because it was all spectacular!!! I don’t want to give too much away, as I don’t want it to take away from your experience. I would definitely recommend this food tour to friends, family and anyone interested in trying something new who will be traveling through Miami in the future. Rich was a great guide…very knowledgeable and affable. It was a fun eclectic experience…nothing we could have ever done on our own in an unfamiliar town. It will remain a fond memory in my mind and on my taste buds. I highly recommend it! Sandra PS. Maybe some alternative drinks at the Bolivar for those who don’t imbibe. ?

We had a great tour guide. She was very personable and very well informed about the area. She told stories about South Beach, pointed out different aspects about the architecture and took us to 7 different stops to try foods and drinks. I think this is a great way to experience a city.

The tour was great, the guide was informative about the food as well as the area sites. All the food sampled was excellent. The guide made it fun for every one. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys taste of all types of food.

We had 4 savoury stops for pasta, cerviche and salad, Cuban beef with vegetables and pizza interspersed with 3 dessert stops for churros, raspberry and cream cheese roulade and 2 scoops of gelato. More than a normal meal and all of it delicious. Anna was knowledgable, friendly and keen to ensure everyone was happy. We went back to one of the venues the next night for dinner. Really enjoyed it, you get lovely food from restaurants that want to impress you and learn a bit about the owners and have a nice walk in the Deco District as the sun goes down. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

The group leader was fabulous. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny and organized. We absolutely loved the different restaurants she took us to and could not believe how much food was included in the tour. We were stuffed after 3 stops and still had 3 to go. She also selected a very interesting variety of ethnic restaurants where we were treated with enthusiasm and hospitality.
