HCA’s East Florida’s Eat This Drink That Go! Hosted by Jimmy Cefalo and Brenda Bassett Hits the Small Screen
Popular radio show hits the airwaves on Monday, March 17
The popular radio-show HCA’s East Florida Eat This Drink That Go! Presented by Whole Foods Market – hosted by Jimmy Cefalo and Brenda Bassett – will now be a feast for the eyes, as well. Beginning Monday, March 17, 2014 the radio talk show will begin airing on The Beach Channel and available for ATT-U-VERSE TV subscribers in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade Counties as a 30-minute TV show. Each episode will highlight the radio show’s previous week’s broadcast, giving viewers an inside look at the fabulous chefs, wine makers and hospitality heavyweights that appear on the radio show each Saturday morning.
The televised version of Eat This Drink That Go! will air new episodes on Mondays at 7 p.m. and broadcast reruns throughout the week, reaching more than 650,000 viewers including households and 10,000 hotel rooms through Golden Beach, Sunny Isles, Aventura, North Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Miami Beach, Williams Island, South Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, South Miami and Pinecrest.
“Turning Eat This Drink That Go! into a television series will really allow audiences to come along for the ride and see how we do what we do,” Cefalo said. “Dining and drinking is such a sensory experience and by adding visuals we hope viewers will have a great opportunity to appreciate our guests as much as we do.”
For its third consecutive year, Cefalo and Bassett have been sharing and spreading their passion for great food, wine, spirits and travel on the show, which airs every Saturday from 9-10 a.m. EST on radio station 610 WIOD AM. Cefalo is a well-respected wine expert, broadcaster and former Miami Dolphins receiver, Bassett a seasoned marketer, community leader and is Cefalo’s business partner. The duo have been major players in the South Florida food and wine scene for years.
