In Hialeah, Santa Isn’t The Only Reason For The Season!
Kicking off Friday, December 3, 2021 La Cocina Coctelería will debut Miami’s first-ever Hanukkah-themed “pop-up” bar with the objective of giving the Magic City’s festive season a vibrant new identity. Offering Miamians a bright blue escape from the predictable swarms of red and green, guests can expect a winter wonderland of Hanukkah decor and a matching cocktail list to boot.
Jewish-inspired cocktails include: Hanukkah Matata – E11even Vodka, Espresso, Simple Syrup, Coffee Beans, and Black and White Cookie; Doc Brown Goes Back To The De11i – E11even Vodka, Simple Syrup, Lemon juice, Angostura Bitters, Mint Leaves, and Dr. Brown’s Cel-Ray Soda; and B11oody Bubbe – E11even Vodka, Bloody Mary Mix and Black Salt. In addition, La Cocina will also offer a homemade Manischewitz Punch (E11even Vodka, Manischewitz, OJ and Club Soda) – with all proceeds benefiting The Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
Amongst the plethora of decorations and quite fitting for the occasion, Adam Sandler’s ‘8 Crazy Nights’ will be projected on loop while blue and white string lights illuminate the cozy indoor space. Star of David and dreidel ornaments, lighted menorah decor, and a ‘Mensch on a Bench’, are just some of the other features guests will find decorating the exciting pop-up. Sponsored by E11even Vodka, Hanukkah Harry’s Enchanted Forest will have a live DJ every Saturday night and will be giving away E11even Vodka swag bags at 11PM each evening. At closing time, barflies can also enjoy a complimentary bowl of Matzo Ball Soup. La Cocina Coctelería is located at 1000 East 16th Street in Hialeah. Telephone: (305) 887-8863; kushhospitality.com.
