MIAMI, FLA (October 17, 2016) Available now, Hakkasan restaurants around the world celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Hakkasan in London’s Hanway Place by launching local ‘Only At’ dishes and cocktails. This special offering will represent the individuality of each restaurant and its location, featuring dishes and cocktails exclusive to each restaurant. The Only At menus celebrate local culture and cuisine, using seasonal ingredients while still using Hakkasan’s modern Chinese cooking techniques.
In the fifteen years since the first Hakkasan opened in London, eleven restaurants have opened globally in the UK, China, India, US and the Middle East. The Only At collection reflects Hakkasan’s ability to innovate and identify new ways to offer guests a unique culinary experience.
Hakkasan, located in the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, known for its modern approach to traditional Cantonese cuisine. Chef de Cuisine Jian Heng Loo has created the Only At dishes featuring a number of delectable locally sourced ingredients such as Florida spiny lobster, sourced directly from BleauFish, the hotel’s ocean-to-table seafood program. Menu highlights include Steamed crystal lobster dumplings;, Crispy shredded beef in Chinese honey served with mandarin pancakes, Seared snapper with supreme homemade soya sauce; Stir-fry South Florida spiny lobster in XO sauce and Stir-fry spicy lamb with baby bamboo shoots. Locally inspired cocktails include the Serpent’s Tongue featuring Bulleit Bourbon, honey syrup, fresh lemon, crushed ginger, pepper; and the refreshing Frescor – Hendrick’s gin, lemon, cane syrup, fresh ginger and mint.
Inspired by ingredients and flavors inherent to these regions, the Only At dishes and cocktails showcase local influences and expertise to create a unique collection. All eleven Hakkasan restaurants will feature a selection of small eats, main dishes, desserts and cocktails that will form the innovative Only At collection. These menus will change twice a year and have a strong emphasis on seasonality, highlighting the originality of each Hakkasan restaurant around the world.
