As an extension of “John Offerdahl’s Broward Health® Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival,” several participating restaurants will be part of the “Gridiron Grill-Out” restaurant preview from Saturday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Nov. 13. This unique dining program allows foodies to wet their appetites with mouthwatering cuisine made exclusively for the ultimate culinary showdown for charity.

Top South Florida restaurants, including McCoy’s Oceanfront at The Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa (pictured above), will participate in the “Gridiron Grill-Out” Restaurant Preview, running Oct. 17 – Nov. 13
During the month-long Gridiron Grill-Out Program, diners will be able to enjoy a signature appetizer paired with a glass of Gallo wine or a Jack Daniel’s cocktail at nine participating restaurants: Oceans 234, G-Bar at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Mai-Kai Restaurant, Piccolo Ristorante, Shula’s Steak House (Miami Lakes), Beauty & The Feast at The Atlantic Hotel & Spa, Darrel and Oliver’s Cafe Maxx, Grille 401 and McCoy’s Oceanfront at The Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa. Grill-Out specials will be offered at tables and at the bar; Prices will vary by restaurant.

The sixth annual John Offerdahl’s Broward Health® Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival on Saturday, Nov. 14 will pair 25 Miami Dolphins legends with top South Florida chefs to prepare fine dining, grilled dishes. Nearly 3,000 football fans and foodies will also enjoy the Samuel Adams Craft Beer Garden, an expanded Guy Harvey’s Sustainable Seafood Village, the Allied Kitchen & Bath Backyard Barbeque and a special Grilling Demo with celebrity guest, Adam Richman hosted by 105.9’s Paul & Young Ronin the Toyota Cornhole Stadium & Festival Stage.
100% of event net proceeds will benefit Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation and its mission to “Feed the Needs of Kids in Crisis.” Charitable recipients include 4KIDS of South Florida, HOPE South Florida, Here’s Help, Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation, Miami Dolphins Foundation and Taste of the NFL.
The $85 Grand Grill-Off ticket will give attendees, 21 and older, the opportunity to sample delicious signature dishes from 1 p.m. to4 p.m. The $125 VIP ticket package will include a signed copy of Richman’s book, as well as early access into the Grand Grill-Off starting at noon.
