EXCLUSIVELY PRICED $54 MENUS COMMEMORATE THE 1954 OPENING OF THE HISTORIC FONTAINEBLEAU MIAMI BEACH
In honor of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s original 1954 opening, the property’s three signature restaurants will once again be offering $54 prix fixe menus throughout the month of July. A South Florida tradition going onto it’s third year, the resort’s three AAA Four Diamond signature restaurants, Gotham Steak, Scarpetta and Hakkasan, will offer sumptuous $54 prix fixe menus, highlighting some of their most popular dishes while saving significantly. Optional Wine Flights created by Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s award-winning sommelier team will also be available.
Gotham Steak, the glamorous, two level restaurant created by Michelin and James Beard award-winning chef Alfred Portale, combines classic steakhouse elements with fresh seafood, specialty meats, and an impressive 1,500 bottle wine tower. The restaurant’s July 54 menu includes a choice between two Appetizers, Entrées and Desserts. The Appetizer options include a choice between Tuna Tartar with Shiso, Lime and Ginger or French Onion Soup with Smoked Mozzarella and aged Gruyere. Entrée options include the Grilled 8 oz. Filet Mignon with Yukon Gold Potato Puree, Jumbo Asparagus and Bordelaise Sauce or Miso Marinated Black Cod with Bok Choy and Shiitake Mushrooms, Sticky Rice in a Soy Lemongrass and Ginger Sauce. Delectable dessert options include Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brûlée with Caramelized Brown Sugar, Fresh Berries and Strawberry Sorbet or the Gotham Warm Chocolate Cake with Pistachio Ice Cream. The restaurant is also offering an optional wine pairing for an additional $20 or $30 dollars more.
World-renowned and award-winning Hakkasan serves traditional Cantonese fare complimented by a diverse menu of New World wines and sakes. The special July 54 prix fixe menu highlights Small Eats with an option of a Dim Sum Platter or Wild Mushroom Lettuce Wrap; Mains including the Mala Chicken or Stir-fry French Bean with Preserved Olive and Dried Shrimp; Spring Onion Fried Rice; and Dessert options include Chocolate Fondant with Caramel Sauce, Chocolate Crumble, and Oatmeal ice cream. The restaurant is also offering an optional wine pairing that includes Hakkasan’s Signature Bellini and 3oz pours of a Dr. Loosen Riesling Red Slate and a Dutton-Goldfield, Pinot Noir for an additional $22.
Created by acclaimed New York chef Scott Conant, Scarpetta features an innovative menu inspired by Italy’s clean crisp flavors and farm-fresh ingredients. For the July 54 menu, Conant strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and sophistication with a menu options such as Swordfish Bresaola with Cara Cara Oranges and Black Garlic; Braised Short Ribs of Beef with Vegetable and Farro Risotto; Creamy Polenta with Fricassee of Truffled Mushrooms; Duck and Foie Gras Ravioli with Marsala Reduction; Diver Sea Scallops with Pine Nuts gremolata, Radishes and Asparagus; Sirloin of Beef with Fingerlings, Trumpet royale mushrooms and parmigiano. A decadent dessert menu includes Amedei Chocolate Cake, Coconut Panna Cotta and Polenta Crusted Cheesecake. The restaurant is also offering an optional wine pairing. “The Classico” tasting selection is $25 while “The Riserva” premium selection tasting is priced at $35. Both include 3 oz. wine tastings paired with each course.
