Los Aljibes Winery is part of the Finca Los Aljibes. estate located in Chinchilla de Montearagon, (Albacete), in the Vino de la Tierra dc Castilla wine producing region. The winery building is surrounded bv S00 acres of vineyards, cultivated at almost one thousand meters above sea level. Los Aljibes is focused on creating functional, modern wines of high expression. The estate’s bedrock is limestone, with shallow, sandy soil containing little organic material. In the continental style, the climate is rigorous and arid.
The varieties in Los Aljibes are traditional Spanish like Tempranillo. Garna- cha, Garnacha Tintorera and Verdejo. which are cultivated in addition to others that have adapted well to the farm’s climate (Syrah, Cabernet Franc. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.
