EGG & DART NOW OFFERING LUNCH MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 11:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
As season approaches, Miami Design District’s chic Greek eatery, Egg & Dart, featuring an array of traditional Greek mezze, grilled meats and seafood, is now offering lunch service, Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The lunch menu will feature an array of specialty mezze, along with an abundant selection of salads, sandwiches and main entrees. Diners can expect affordable prices and swift attentive service, creating the perfect lunchtime dining spot for the Design District, downtown and neighboring areas.
Much like the dinner offerings, the lunch menu will feature a selection of mezze ($5-$12), perfect for a light bite, including zucchini croquettes, octopus springrolls and the pikilia – a signature platter of tzatziki, hummus, taramolsalata, melitzanolsalata, tirokafteri and veggies. A variety of salads ($9-$13) includes the traditional horiatiki, Greek salad; prasini – mixed greens with grilled haloumi cheese, housemade croutons, sundried tomatoes and bacon in a balsamic vinaigrette; karpouzi – watermelon, manouri cheese, sunflower seeds, mixed greens in a strawberry watermelon vinaigrette; and the pasta costa – fusilli with cherry tomatoes, feta, fresh basil and pesto. Grilled chicken or shrimp can be added to any salad for an additional charge.
Sandwiches ($9-$11) are all served with a choice of Greek fries, roasted potatoes or the Egg & Dart green salad and include the Greco – chopped cucumber, tomato, red onion, green pepper, olives and capers, topped with feta, olive oil and oregano; Manaloaki – roast pork, chili pepper sauce and green apple; and the Luca Nico – orange flavored Greek sausage with mixed greens and sweet onion chili marmalade. Mama’s homemade spinach and cheese pies are also available.
Heartier appetites can enjoy one of the main courses ($12-$18) such as the grilled octopus served over baked marinated tomatoes; skirt steak, marinated in Greek lager; keftedakia – Greek seasoned meatballs with light tomato sauce and Greek fries; or the signature whole grilled fish (MP).
